Felicia Pillay
For her short time in the comedy scene, Felicia Pillay has made some big strides. Most notably, she’s performed on the West End in the UK with Masood Boomgaard. Closer to home, she’s been part of Carvin Goldstone’s Next Generation, opened for American comedian Dan Frigolette’s one man show, as well as the Goliath Brothers at the Suncoast Dome, and had the pleasure of gracing the stage of The Cape Town Comedy Club.
Felicia has joined the likes of South African comedy greats Robby Collins and Loyiso Madinga on stage and even opened for Robbie’s one man show in Johannesburg. She proudly represented Durban when she was nominated for Best Newcomer and won Top Online Female Comedian at the South African Comedy Awards.
Recently she performed in Cape Town for the Savanna Newcomers Showcase where only 20 comedians were chosen from around South Africa to perform. Like most of us, she faced adversity during COVID but kept her comedy career alive by regularly performing online internationally with comedians from countries such as UK, America, and India, to name a few.
Felicia just wants to perform funnies out her rainbow. She draws inspiration from her own life experiences and is not afraid to get real, bringing her material alive with satire and parody.
