One of the most exciting new acts on the Durban comedy scene, Kamaney has rapidly risen up the comedy ranks with consistently hilarious performances full of wit and absurdity.
Kamaney is no stranger to the stage, starting her entertainment career in the theatre; directing two plays for the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre and acting in numerous others. With such a solid foundation, it’s no wonder Kamaney is comfortable with a mic in her hand and has quickly found herself at home making people burst out with laughter.
These days, she can be found on stages all over Durban, tackling current events and unpacking political, cultural, and social issues through an absurdly hilarious lens. Kamaney is a regular at Stumpnose, Westville Warehouse, and Aces Pizza, working her way up from an open slot to hosting shows in just over a year in the game. Kamaney also featured at the inaugural Point Waterfront Arts Festival.
