
Liam Whitcher is a Cape-Town-based comedian from Durban known for his sharp storytelling, dark wit, and effortlessly engaging stage presence. Blending observational humor with personal confessions, Liam turns everyday awkwardness into punchlines that hit home – and occasionally below the belt.
He’s performed at top comedy venues across DBN (Dropkick Murphy’s), CT (Ground Culture) and JHB (Bioscope), sharing stages with some of South Africa’s best-known acts such as Robby Collins, Darren Maule, Tats Nkonzo and Carvin Goldstone.
A founding member of Not Quite Right Comedy, Liam has also run many successful gigs across his hometown of DBN, hosting one-man shows for Jaryd Pillay and Robby Collins. Re-energizing the comedy scene in DBN for years to come.
